Knitting Tip of the Day:
An Easy way to make a Buttonhole: Work over to where you want the beginning of your buttonhole to be. Bind off the number of stitches it will take to fit your button. 3 stitches is a good number to start with for worsted weight yarn and a medium sized button. (If you bind off 3, you'll want to start your bind off one stitch before the stitch you want the center of your buttonhole to be). Work the rest of the row normally. On the next row, when you reach the edge of the buttonhole where there will be a gap in the knitting, cast on the same number of stitches you bound off in the last row. Work the rest of the row normally. Voila!
